Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current ORT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current operating room experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication skills with hospital staff, medical staff, and equipment representatives
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and maintain a safe sterile field for surgical procedures
• Handle surgical instrumentation and supplies for scheduled and emergency cases
• Gather instruments and supplies according to surgeon preference sheets
• Support the operating room team with clerical and department-related duties as needed
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to patient safety
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to help ensure efficient case flow
