Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Comfort working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and collaborating with residents, families, and care team members
- Ability to follow resident care plans and support activities of daily living
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal care
- Take and report vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
- Respond to resident call lights and provide timely support
- Monitor skin integrity, turn and reposition residents, and assist with transfers
- Move residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair safely and compassionately
- Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas by changing linens and restocking supplies
- Communicate observations and updates to nurses and other members of the care team
