Job Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Arkansas
- At least 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab, acute rehab, or a similar therapy setting
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Flexibility to assist with occasional Saturday coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Support individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Assist with care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute rehab setting
- Provide occasional coverage on the acute side when needed
- Document treatment sessions and patient response accurately in the EMR
