Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an OR Tech in a surgical setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Ability to support patient safety and maintain an organized surgical suite
- Must meet all facility and state compliance requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases
- Support room turnover between procedures to promote efficiency and readiness
- Inspect, clean, and organize surgical instruments and equipment according to protocol
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other perioperative staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Follow all safety, infection prevention, and facility policies and procedures
