Job Details
- Setting: Acute care hospital
- Employment Type: Travel respiratory therapist
- Location: Bismarck, ND
- Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night schedule
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday required; no on-call
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Requirements
- Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapist license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- NBRC RRT or CRT credential required
- PALS and NRP preferred
- Experience in ICU and NICU required
- Adult ICU and NICU experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work rotating days/nights and every other weekend/holiday
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Support ICU, NICU, and other hospital-based respiratory therapy needs
- Perform assessments, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Deliver safe, high-quality care during rotating shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to badge-in/badge-out procedures and facility compliance requirements
