• Setting: Acute care hospital, inpatient physical therapy
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 – $1,460
• Start Date: August 18, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Patient Volume: Typically 9-10 patients per day
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license
• MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
• Acute care experience
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based healthcare environment
• Meditech experience preferred
• ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments for hospitalized patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support mobility, strength, and recovery goals
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, case management, and therapy team members to coordinate care
• Use mobility equipment and appropriate therapy interventions in the acute care setting
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR
• Maintain a high standard of productivity while delivering quality patient-centered care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
