Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably in the Emergency Department or ER
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency setting
- Ability to adapt quickly in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Must meet assignment location and travel nurse eligibility requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in acuity
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and professional bedside manner
- Maintain readiness to handle emergent and high-pressure situations with confidence
