Join a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room team in Salem, VA 24153. This 13-week travel OR Tech assignment offers the opportunity to support complex cardiac and general surgical procedures while enjoying the scenic charm of Southwest Virginia and the nearby Roanoke area.

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech or CVOR experience preferred
- CST or ORT certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Scrubbing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a cardiovascular operating room or high-acuity OR setting preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and contribute as a flexible team player
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a surgical services environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operating room for cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field to support safe surgical workflow
- Scrub for procedures such as CABG, thoracotomy, Endo AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker cases
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and the surgical team to ensure efficient case readiness
- Support day shift operations in a 2-suite OR environment
- Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call as assigned
