Job Details

- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Pattern: Day and night coverage
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Charting System: Epic
- Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg Tele or a closely related specialty
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Strong telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work rotating shifts and support variable weekend coverage as needed
- Experience with oncology patients preferred, but not required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
- Support patients with a wide range of complex diagnoses and treatment plans
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with best practice standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective patient care
- Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety practices closely
- Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed
