Travel Nursing Job Details

- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients

Med/Surg Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Oklahoma
- At least 1 year of recent adult medical-surgical nursing experience
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an on-site hospital setting
- Commitment to patient safety, professional nursing standards, and collaborative care
Medical-Surgical RN Responsibilities
- Assess adult medical-surgical patients and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the patient care continuum
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer treatments and medications in accordance with clinical standards and established plans of care
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, nursing colleagues, patients, and families
- Provide leadership and contribute to high standards of professional nursing practice
- Support safe, compassionate patient care across a range of ages and clinical needs
