Travel Nursing Job Details
- Specialty: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU
- Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Location: Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg
- Schedule: 3 night shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,310-$2,440
- Start Date: October 20, 2026
- Assignment End Date: January 17, 2027
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Work Setting: On-site
- Additional Scheduling: May float to other comparable critical-care units based on operational needs
Travel RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a valid compact-state RN license
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience in a CVICU, ICU, or comparable critical-care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Fingerprinting completed or available as required before the start date
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and float to comparable critical-care units when needed
CVICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and surgical patients in the CVICU
- Monitor patients closely, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments while following critical-care protocols and patient-safety standards
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively during patient handoffs
- Support a safe, patient-centered environment while floating to other comparable critical-care units as assigned
