Travel NICU Registered Nurse – Level II NICU in Westwood, New Jersey

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submittal
- At least 1 year of NICU or neonatal nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- NRP or NRP Advanced required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong comfort working with neonates and Level II/III NICU patient populations
- Ability to work night shifts and provide weekend coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate NICU nursing care to neonates
- Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as hypoglycemia, jaundice, sepsis rule-out, TTN, RDS, prematurity, and IUGR
- Support respiratory care needs including Bubble CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide specialized neonatal interventions
- Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and other ordered therapies
- Perform developmental care, thermoregulation support, and family education
- Manage IVs, central lines, UAC/UVC care, and neonatal respiratory equipment as assigned
- Float to baby nursery support when needed
- Document accurately in Epic and collaborate with the care team to support excellent patient outcomes
