Travel Ultrasound Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950-$2,100
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based perinatal ultrasound unit
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Four shifts per week, Monday through Friday; weekday off may rotate based on staffing needs
• Weekend and Call Requirements: No routine weekends or on-call requirements
• Orientation: Approximately 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
• Patient Population: Adolescents and adults
• Unit Resources: Approximately 5-7 ultrasound rooms with electronic charting and imaging systems

Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer experience
• Recent maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN
• NT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Washington state or compact license, as applicable
• Proficiency with first-, second-, and third-trimester ultrasound examinations
• Experience with high-risk OB, fetal anatomy surveys, Doppler studies, fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucency screening, and transvaginal imaging
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, sonographers, and other members of the healthcare team

Maternal-Fetal Ultrasound Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric ultrasound examinations across all stages of pregnancy
• Complete fetal anatomical surveys, growth assessments, biophysical profiles, and high-risk OB studies
• Perform nuchal translucency screenings and assist with fetal echocardiography examinations
• Conduct abdominal, transvaginal, and Doppler imaging as clinically indicated
• Evaluate and document fetal anatomy, measurements, placenta, amniotic fluid, umbilical cord, and related findings
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and imaging systems
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and diagnostic imaging quality standards
• Provide compassionate, professional care and clear communication to patients and families during examinations
