Travel Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license eligible for practice in Oklahoma
• At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience; 2-3 years of acute-care experience preferred
• Ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered occupational therapy services in a hospital environment
• Strong patient assessment, clinical documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Flexibility to support patient care needs across nearby units or locations when requested

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, occupational needs, and rehabilitation goals
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and progress
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, activities of daily living, coordination, strength, and independence
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust therapy plans as clinically appropriate
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies, exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe participation in daily activities
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge recommendations accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
