Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements

• At least 4 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum, and obstetric surgical workflows
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends
• Collaborative, dependable team player with excellent communication skills
• Resume required at submission

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other Labor & Delivery operating room-related cases.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments, document care accurately, and follow established clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, nurses, and other members of the care team to promote safe patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience.
• Maintain a safe, organized clinical environment while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
