Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room Assignment in Largo, Florida
Join a specialized cardiovascular operating room team as a Travel CVOR Registered Nurse in Largo, Florida. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250
- Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
- Shift: Approximately 5:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
CVOR Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
- At least 1 year of recent CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, sterile technique, and operating room protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical environment
- Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday rotations
- Current required clinical credentials and documentation for assignment placement
CVOR Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide safe, skilled perioperative nursing care throughout cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and surgical instruments for scheduled cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, perfusionists, and other members of the perioperative team
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs during procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols
- Document care accurately and support effective communication during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative transitions
- Adapt to departmental workflows while contributing to a respectful and team-focused care environment
