Medical-Surgical LPN Travel Contract – Licensed Practical Nurse Job in Asheville, NC

Travel LPN Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina

- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Medical-Surgical LPN Job Requirements
- Current and valid LPN/LVN license
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or acute care setting
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts and meet travel contract requirements
Medical-Surgical LPN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical hospital setting
- Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate members of the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments within the LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to established policies
- Assist with activities of daily living, patient comfort, mobility, and safety
- Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with registered nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding care needs, treatments, and discharge instructions
