Travel Nursing Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Schedule: Self-scheduling with weekend coverage expectations
- Float Expectations: May float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
PICU RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience required
- Current PALS certification required
- Strong pediatric critical care skills and comfort working night shift
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex pediatric care preferred
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Perform IV starts, catheter care, central line dressing changes, and trach care
- Assist with tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
- Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Support safe, efficient patient flow and float to Pediatrics or NICU when needed
