Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• High-risk OB experience preferred; high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality Labor & Delivery nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Support safe, evidence-based care during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
• Assist with high-risk obstetric situations as appropriate to experience and scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices
• Deliver patient-centered education and emotional support to families throughout the birthing process
