- Schedule: Every other weekend
- Potential Floating: May float to Ortho/Med-Surg as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 – $1,730
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience required
- Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythms, and patient care
- Comfort working with bedside documentation systems and remote telemetry equipment
- Ability to adapt to a 4:1 patient ratio, with flexibility up to 6:1 or 7:1 as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and support treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Assist with chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis as appropriate
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Maintain patient safety, follow telemetry monitoring and stroke policies, and uphold unit standards
- Deliver a positive patient experience while supporting a strong team environment
