• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,010 – $2,160
• Patient Volume: Approximately 7 visits per day
• Charting System: Cerner
• On-Call: Not required
• Floating: May float as needed within scope to support facility needs

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Pediatric occupational therapy experience is required
• Previous travel therapy experience required
• Active Illinois OT license required
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Experience working with pediatric outpatient populations strongly preferred
• Ability to support children with sensory processing issues, developmental delays, autism, and related needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and family education skills

Pediatric Occupational Therapy Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services in an outpatient rehab setting
• Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Support activities of daily living, handwriting, feeding, and functional skill development
• Implement sensory integration and neurodevelopmental treatment strategies
• Recommend and train on adaptive equipment as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and carryover techniques
• Document evaluations, reassessments, and progress clearly in Cerner
• Collaborate with physical therapy, social services, and interpretation services to support patient success
• Contribute to a positive, child-friendly, and flexible care environment
