Job Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / ED nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
- Familiarity with ED documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize patient needs in urgent situations
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and safe discharge instructions
