Job Details

- Location: Plano, Texas 75075
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670 – $1,760
- Call Requirement: Approximately 4-7 days per month
- Unit Setting: 5 procedure rooms, 1:1 patient ratio, Meditech EMR
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy, procedural nursing, or acute care
- Strong experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and endoscope reprocessing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Comfortable supporting advanced GI procedures and maintaining patient safety throughout the care process
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Endoscopy RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and related procedures
- Assist with procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Prepare patients, support physicians during procedures, and monitor recovery as needed
- Perform endoscope reprocessing in accordance with unit standards and infection control practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary procedural team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and uphold high standards of patient care
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
