- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse / Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room RN
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job

- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4×10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weeknights per week
- Orientation: 30 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 – $2,890
- Additional Notes: Flexibility to float may be required depending on assignment needs
Job Requirements
- 2 years of CVOR experience required
- At least 1 completed travel assignment required
- Experience in adult or pediatric CVOR accepted
- Active RN license required; compact license accepted where applicable
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room workflows, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing standards
- Experience with congenital heart disease cases preferred
Responsibilities
- Support pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures with a focus on safe, high-quality patient care
- Assist with induction, intraoperative monitoring, and surgical readiness
- Prepare and manage equipment, instruments, and supplies for complex cardiac surgery cases
- Participate in procedures such as congenital heart repairs, valve procedures, and ECMO-related support
- Perform specimen handling, labeling, and documentation in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, universal protocol, and radiation safety standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure efficient OR flow
- Be prepared to float as needed based on assignment priorities
