CVOR Surgical Technologist / OR Tech Job in Rockford, Illinois

This 13-week travel assignment is ideal for a Certified Surgical Technologist, CVOR Tech, or experienced OR Tech who is confident in the cardiovascular operating room, able to scrub independently, and ready to contribute to high-acuity surgical care.

- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Shifts per Week: 4
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,790-$1,920
- Call Coverage: Rotational call, which may include one weekend day per week
- Openings: 3
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar surgical technologist, OR Tech, or cardiovascular operating room setting
- Ability to scrub independently
- Experience working with the CV/Heart Team
- Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech certification preferred
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Availability for rotational call coverage
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room
- Scrub independently and maintain readiness throughout cases
- Support surgeons and the CV/Heart Team with efficient case setup and intraoperative workflow
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold a safe, organized surgical environment
- Adapt to changing case needs while delivering dependable, high-quality clinical support
- Participate in rotational call coverage as assigned
