- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- EMR: Meditech
- Floating: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Texas or a valid Multi-State Compact License
- Experience with chemotherapy and biotherapy administration
- Bone marrow transplant experience required
- Hematology experience required
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
Oncology RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology, transplant, and cellular therapy patients
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely and accurately
- Support bone marrow transplant care and ongoing patient monitoring
- Perform blood administration and cardiac monitoring as needed
- Work closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment
- Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in the EMR
- Maintain a compassionate, resilient, and detail-oriented approach to patient care
