- Shifts Per Week: 4 shifts
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470 – $1,580
- Openings: 2
- Call Requirement: Rotating weeknight and weekend call, including at least one night per week and one weekend per 5-week schedule
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of OR Tech, operating room technician, or surgical technologist experience required
- OR circulator experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CST or ORT certification required
- Ability to scrub open heart procedures required
- Comfortable with rotating call responsibilities
- Preferred experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic surgery
- Strong team-oriented attitude with flexibility, compassion, and a willingness to jump in where needed
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in the operating room to support safe, efficient procedures
- Function as an OR circulator as needed
- Scrub and assist with a variety of surgical cases, including open heart procedures
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and ensure proper OR setup
- Support case flow in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to provide seamless patient care
- Participate in rotating call coverage for nights and weekends
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-focused surgical environment
