Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Current BLS certification
- Certified CT Technologist credential
- Active Virginia license
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital radiology environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with clinical protocols and provider orders
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
- Complete common studies including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans with and without contrast
- Maintain high standards of image quality, accuracy, and patient safety
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the clinical team to support smooth patient flow
- Provide compassionate care and support throughout the diagnostic imaging process
