Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry – Columbus, OH

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040

- Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care nursing experience required
- Current Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS certification and telemetry nursing skills strongly valued
- Oncology experience preferred, but not required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must be comfortable floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical, surgical, and oncology-related diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm changes, and respond appropriately to patient status updates
- Support infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety initiatives on a high-acuity hospital unit
- Manage common Med/Surg Telemetry interventions such as IV therapy, blood products, central lines, PCA pumps, bladder irrigation, and telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
- Respond promptly to changing patient needs while maintaining a calm, compassionate bedside presence
