• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 – $1,700
• Setting: Adult ICU with float opportunities to similar units as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Float Requirement: Required
• Orientation: Provided onsite

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact license eligible prior to start
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong experience caring for adult critical care patients
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float to similar units when needed
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and vasoactive drips
• Administer medications and therapies according to ICU protocols and clinical standards
• Assess patient status, recognize changes quickly, and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal outcomes
• Assist with procedures and manage complex critical care interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety
• Float to like units within scope when required by facility needs
