Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,170-$3,400
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Acute care cardiac catheterization lab
• Shift: 10-hour days with call
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Call Schedule: Rotational call, typically 8-9 shifts per month

Cath Lab Tech Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Cath Lab Technician or cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• IEMA certification
• Experience with EPIC strongly preferred
• McKesson Cardiology and PACS experience preferred
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to provide required submission documents, including requested time off and identifying information
• Willingness to work rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulate during cath lab procedures
• Support a busy cardiac cath lab with approximately 10-15 cases per day across 6 suites/labs
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the broader procedural team
• Maintain patient safety, efficiency, and high-quality care throughout procedures
• Respond to call within the required 30-minute timeframe when scheduled
• Follow unit protocols, documentation standards, and equipment workflows
• Adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment while delivering reliable, compassionate patient care
