Experienced MRI Technologist needed for a travel radiology assignment in Edmonds, Washington. Join a busy hospital-based imaging team in North Puget Sound, near Seattle, and support high-quality patient care on overnight shifts in a collaborative MRI department.

- Shifts per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Call: No on-call requirements
- Weekend Coverage: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Valid Washington state license with MRI designation
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Adult Acute Care, Pediatric Acute Care, ICU, and ER settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety, patient screening, and contrast preparation and administration
- Comfort working overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Ability to adapt to a team-oriented imaging department with overlapping technologist coverage
- Must be able to provide required compliance documentation and professional references
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans across a variety of anatomical regions and clinical studies
- Prepare patients for imaging by reviewing screening information, explaining procedures, and ensuring safety
- Administer contrast media when indicated and follow established MRI protocols
- Operate MRI equipment with attention to image quality, patient comfort, and departmental standards
- Support a broad range of cases including adult, pediatric, acute care, ICU, and ER patients
- Work collaboratively with radiology staff and other care team members to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain a safe imaging environment and follow all MRI safety procedures
- Contribute to smooth overnight operations and provide dependable coverage on weekend nights
