Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Job – Martinsburg, WV | 13-Week Assignment

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 – $2,580
- Setting: Acute care operating room
- Location: Martinsburg, WV 25401
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call Requirements: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation as needed
- Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
- Charting System: Epic
- Unit Highlights: Busy OR with 9 operating rooms, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room
- Case Volume: Approximately 35-45 cases per day
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2-3 years of operating room nursing experience required
- 2-3 previous travel assignments required
- Orthopedic OR experience required
- Experience passing arms in and out for robotics required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
- Comfortable supporting call coverage in a collaborative, high-volume OR
- Scrubbing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Circulate a wide range of surgical cases, including general, ENT, eye, orthopedic, robotics, neuro/spine, vascular, trauma, pediatric, and emergent procedures
- Support safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to maintain smooth workflow
- Assist with room turnover and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Provide call coverage for weeknight, weekend, and holiday needs as assigned
- Float to outpatient surgery when needed and contribute to overall department success
- Adapt quickly to changing case needs while maintaining excellent patient safety and professionalism
