• Float Expectations: Must be willing to float to other units or hospitals as needed
• EMR: Meditech
• Dress Code: Solid navy scrubs

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 – $1,940

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact state license
• NURSYS verification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• ACLS preferred
• 2 years of overall specialty nursing experience required; 18 months may be considered with the highest level of professional licensure
• At least 1 year of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry experience required
• Ability to work in a clinical, patient-facing acute care environment
• Comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med-Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support safe, effective patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Adapt to floating assignments across units or hospitals as needed
• Maintain professionalism while supporting a strong team-based clinical environment
• Work rotating weekends and holidays as required by the schedule
