Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Travel Assignment in Statesboro, Georgia

Job Details
- Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
- Location: Statesboro, GA 30458, in the welcoming community of Statesboro, Georgia
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays required; floating between Med/Surg and Tele only
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6-7
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Recent experience caring for Med/Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
- BLS certification required
- Recent Cerner charting experience required
- At least 2 completed travel nursing assignments required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing unit needs
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Deliver safe and effective care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Administer medications accurately, including bedside scanning procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Coordinate and direct nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
- Float between Med/Surg and Tele units as needed to support unit coverage
- Maintain clear documentation and communication in the Cerner EMR
