Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – San Francisco, CA
Travel to San Francisco, CA 94109 and join a high-acuity Operating Room team as a Travel Registered Nurse. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,670 – $2,810
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts; variable start times
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Hours per Week: 40
- Orientation: 40 hours
Job Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Scrub and circulate experience required
- Experience with cardiac cases strongly preferred
- Experience supporting hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong charting system experience required
- Ability to adapt to a busy surgical environment with a broad procedural mix
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care throughout the perioperative process
- Perform patient assessments and support individualized nursing care plans
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the broader perioperative team
- Support high-quality care in complex cases including cardiac, robotic, spine, ENT, gynecology, and orthopedic procedures
- Maintain a safe, efficient workflow in a high-acuity operating room setting
- Educate patients and families as appropriate before and after procedures
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
