Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Job in Berkeley, California
Travel Telemetry RN needed for a night-shift assignment in Berkeley, CA. Join a dynamic East Bay healthcare team and provide expert care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190 – $2,310

- Weekend Coverage: As needed
- On-Call: As needed
- Floating: May float within scope of practice, including med surg or nearby campuses as needed
Job Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certification
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
- At least 6 months of travel nurse experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong clinical skills caring for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing unit needs
- Flexibility to float to other units or campuses within scope of practice
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for telemetry patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and ECG changes
- Administer medications, blood products, oxygen therapy, and IV therapies safely and accurately
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, feeding tubes, and related patient care needs
- Support patients requiring respiratory therapies, seizure precautions, and post-procedural monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and assist with rapid response or code situations as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established unit protocols and hospital policies
