• End Date: 1/11/2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 12 hours (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,400
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend and as needed by unit workflow
• On Call: As needed
• Floating: May float within scope of practice as needed

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Experience caring for neuro patients strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Comfort with flexible floating expectations
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric ICU patients
• Monitor and manage complex neuro and critical care cases
• Administer medications, blood products, and advanced IV therapies
• Care for ventilated patients and manage respiratory support therapies
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips according to patient needs
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and continuous bedside monitoring data
• Support patients requiring invasive lines, drains, and advanced ICU interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Adapt to changing patient needs and support unit flow through flexible floating when required
