Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse – 13-Week Contract in Vineland, New Jersey
Experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week on-site nursing contract in Vineland, NJ (08360). Provide high-quality care for observation and inpatient hold patients in the emergency department and inpatient units while gaining valuable acute care RN experience in a collaborative hospital setting. Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, Stepdown, Telemetry, or related acute care RN experience required
- Previous Epic experience required
- Active New Jersey RN license or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Stroke CEUs required
- PCU or Critical Care course required
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for observation and inpatient hold patients in the emergency department and inpatient units
- Monitor patients requiring Med/Surg Tele and Stepdown-level nursing support
- Float between different care areas within the facility based on census and patient care needs
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Utilize Epic for documentation and patient care coordination
- Participate in orientation, required training, and scheduled onboarding activities
