Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS required prior to start; pending ACLS may be considered if completed before day one
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work scheduled night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to adult Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate findings to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to established clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond to changing patient needs with strong clinical judgment and professionalism
- Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety practices, and quality care expectations
