Burn ICU Registered Nurse Travel Job in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Job Details
- Location: Saint Paul, MN 55101
- Healthcare Setting: Burn ICU / Intensive Care Unit
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Position
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 20 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360-$2,480
- Start Date: ASAP
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Floating: May float to other ICUs, PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED Boarding as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Minnesota RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Prior burn care experience is preferred, but not required
- New graduates are not eligible for this role
- Ability to adapt to changing unit protocols and high-acuity patient needs
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill burn ICU patients
- Support burn resuscitation care according to unit-specific protocols
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer treatments and perform critical care interventions in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Document care accurately while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
- Float to approved units when needed based on patient care demands
- Participate in orientation and quickly integrate into the unit workflow
