Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
- Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia 25401
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
- Employment Type: Travel Assignment
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays
- Charting System: EPIC
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040 – $2,150
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing or critical care experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- PALS and TNCC preferred
- Experience caring for a mixed ICU population, including higher-acuity medical and surgical patients
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU
- Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including ventilated patients and advanced drips
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition, rapid responses, and evolving clinical needs
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care while following unit protocols and best practices
- Support a culture of excellence, communication, and patient-focused care
