Job Requirements

• Current, full, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of recent urgent care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process, customer service, and infection control principles
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain effective in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to patients and medical staff in an ambulatory urgent care setting
• Collaborate with providers, clinic staff, and management to support excellent patient care and efficient clinic operations
• Help lead front desk and patient care workflow to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Maintain medication inventory, supplies, and point-of-care quality control checks
• Document patient care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Assist with opening and closing provider clinics
• Support staff by anticipating needs and communicating effectively across departments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment while following infection control procedures
