• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN; ED holding as needed for admitted patients

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in ICU, CVICU, or critical care
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment in a high-acuity cardiac and critical care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in call coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside nursing care for patients with complex cardiac, medical, and critical care needs
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, stroke, trauma, and more
• Deliver safe, timely interventions in a 16-bed unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Use clinical tools and technology, including Baxter pumps and the Medhost EHR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality outcomes and efficient patient flow
• Float to Intermediate Care or ED holding when needed based on unit demand
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
