Travel Nursing Job Details

• Shift: Midday schedule, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 7.5 hours

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,220 – $2,340

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Endoscopy, GI, PACU, or procedural nursing experience required
• Critical care or ICU experience strongly preferred
• PACU or recovery experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with airway management, conscious sedation, and post-anesthesia recovery
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Strong emergency response and patient assessment skills
• Skill in starting and maintaining IVs
• Experience with specimen handling and labeling
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced procedural environment
• Travel RN experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Epic experience preferred

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and PACU/recovery areas
• Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care
• Support airway management and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Circulate for procedures and maintain accurate specimen handling and labeling
• Care for patients undergoing advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, ESD, POEM, EMR, EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
• Deliver age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, providers, and interdisciplinary support teams
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy procedural setting
• Uphold patient safety, efficient workflow, and strong communication throughout the assignment
