Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract in Naples, FL

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 – $1,840
- Schedule: Day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with call and holiday coverage
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
- Location: Naples, FL 34114
- Start Date: ASAP
- Travel Assignment: Yes
- Floating: May be required to float between campuses as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Cerner EMR experience required
- AHCA fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
- Experience supporting a variety of surgical service lines preferred, including general surgery, urology, spine, GYN, orthopedics, plastics, breast, and robotics
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other team members to support efficient case flow
- Prepare for procedures by ensuring supplies, equipment, and room readiness
- Assist with scrub support and hands-on surgical case participation as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families and support timely updates throughout the surgical experience
- Maintain and update physician preference cards
- Help ensure timeliness of cases and smooth coordination of surgical workflow
- Supervise personnel delivering patient care in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
