Job Details
- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Lakeport, CA 95453
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650 – $2,790
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Charting System: Epic
- Orientation: 16 hours
Job Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certification
- AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate experience preferred
- Strong background in antepartum, labor, postpartum, and mother/baby care
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Comfortable working with Epic charting and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to provide safe, calm, patient-centered care in a fast-paced obstetric setting
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and mother/baby patients
- Monitor fetal status, interpret EFM strips, and respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for cesarean sections
- Support high-risk obstetric patients and coordinate care as needed
- Deliver newborn and postpartum education to support safe transitions home
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes
- Provide compassionate, attentive care in a busy Labor & Delivery environment
