- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Charting System: Epic
- Setting: Adult medical-surgical telemetry unit
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in Med/Surg Telemetry within the last 3 years
- BLS certification from AHA
- Telemetry experience with successful completion of pre-start telemetry testing
- Experience starting and maintaining IVs
- Epic charting experience required
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric med/surg patients
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
- Start and maintain IV access and support common medical-surgical interventions
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to clinical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Care for a varied patient population, including patients with complex medical needs
- Float to other appropriate units as needed while maintaining flexibility and professionalism
- Support a patient-centered environment with attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
