Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Job in Santa Fe, New Mexico

- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Voluntary
- Floating: Yes, as helping hands during low census
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 – $2,080
- EMR: EPIC
- Dress Code: Pewter/charcoal gray scrubs
Job Requirements
- Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state RN license
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Current PALS certification from AHA required
- Current TNCC or ATCN certification required
- CPI / de-escalation certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide age-appropriate emergency nursing care
- Knowledge of patient rights, safe nursing practice, and quality patient care standards
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, efficient, and safe nursing care to Emergency Department patients
- Complete timely assessments, identify priorities, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs
- Administer and document interventions, reassess outcomes, and adjust care as needed
- Support patient and family education, including discharge planning and follow-up instructions
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures as assigned
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other care team members to promote quality outcomes
- Maintain professional standards consistent with unit guidelines and emergency nursing best practices
