• Weekly Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours; weekend coverage required

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770-$1,870
• Floating: May float within scope to Tele/DOU units, ICU, Observation Care, and Cath Lab as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong telemetry nursing skills, including dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Experience caring for ventilated patients in an acute care or stepdown setting
• ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be available to work weekends and at least one holiday
• Must be comfortable floating to other units within scope of practice

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Provide care for telemetry, stepdown, and intermediate acuity patients as assigned
• Support ventilated patients and assist with higher-acuity needs within scope
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality patient outcomes
• Float to related units, including ICU and Observation Care, when needed
• Maintain professional standards, unit protocols, and a strong focus on patient safety
